Mycelium is the biological network produced by fungi (mushrooms). A great deal of research is currently underway which is leading to a greater understanding of how trees communicate with one another through this network, often affectionately called the Wood Wide Web. In this painting, done with the pour technique, am seeking to depict the movement of energy both below the surface and above.
