The calligraphic artwork, “Joy!”, was drawn in English Roundhandscript by Rod McDonald, for a calendar sent in 1985 by the Mono Lino Typesetting Company of Toronto.

Rod is preeminent among Canadian typographic designers and hand-lettering specialists; under his direction, important works in this field are being saved from obscurity by the Canadian Typographic Archives, at canadiantypography.ca. (Used by permission)
