The Annual edition of Ontario Culture Days are coming up soon and the Gananoque Arts Network is ready with some exciting offerings.
And for the second year in a row, The Gananoque Arts Network (GAN) is a designated provincial hub for Ontario Culture Days which means we are the go-to place to find information about all the goings on in the area.
We will be posting its studio tour map here and will feature both tours as well as some great experiential activities at our location on 167 King Street East.
Inside there will be painting demonstrations with Jeannie Catchpole, Otis Tamasaukas, world-renowned print maker will be demonstrating intaglio etchings on copper plates
artwork on display and art activities for the whole family.
The new pottery studio, housed at the back of GAN, will be on display and you can learn more
about slab and wheel clay creations throughout the weekend.
Live music by several local talents will be inside and outside GAN headquarters.
We offer participation in the creation of a mural on the back alley wall.
With the ongoing Crafts by the River market happening on Saturday, the town will be buzzing with artsy activities.
In addition to the second annual studio tour in Gananoque, the network is promoting the very prestigious Kingston Prize which begins October 6 and runs through to October 27 at The
Firehall Theatre daily from 12-8pm.
