Our summer show: Let There Be Light

Light illuminates and reveals. Shadows soften and conceal. Subtle highlights emerge from darkness, shifting colour temperature and mood. Reflected light illuminates hidden hues while signalling presences beyond our direct gaze. This interplay of illumination and obscurity shapes not only what we perceive, but how we feel. The language of light, in all its nuance and mystery, mirrors life itself.

Now Open, on display until mid-September.

A message from our Chair

Well summer has finally arrived and air-conditioning is our friend. GAN is always comfortable and is a great asset to the community seeking a break from this heatwave. While there, learn about some of the programmes being offered this summer including:- free children’s art classes Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 - Kin Mud Club, sponsored again this year by Kin Gananoque, This child and youth program will run until Labour Day. Visit the GAN website to register for these free classes.

The Noel Bullock gallery will have a new exhibit opening this month and MJ’s Baker’s Dozen is open daily (except Mondays) from 7am to 7pm.

Beginning July 1st, participate in GAN’s 50/50 province-wide draw. This initiative will allow us to expand, provide more programming and help us create an artist residency here in the 1000 islands.

Support arts and culture in the 1000 islands.

Thank you, merci,

Dennis
