Zentangle is an easy to learn, relaxing, and fun way of creating beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. The Zentangle method increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction, and instills a sense of personal well-being. Learn the history and language of the art form and, step-by-step, construct many “tangles” (patterns). Instruction will develop the ability to use the Zentangle method in your daily life, as a meditative art form, a jump start to your creativity, an enhancement to your journal, to incorporate pattern into your other projects, or simply for fun!

During the 2-hour classes, you will be guided in how to prepare your clay, and the basic techniques of throwing, trimming, and glazing.
Individual assistance is offered to each student in every class, along with enough time to practice.
While you are registered in a class you have access to open studio time while the cafe is open, Wednesday through Sunday from 9 to 4. This is a trial and it's essential that you sign in and out on the pad above the sink; that you leave the studio clean, and the tools replaced. This is NOT intended for production work. It is simply for practicing what you learned.
