About the event

Join us for this exciting film!

A short documentary film showing Canadian artist Heather Haynes’ pursuit to find purpose in what she creates, and the struggle to understand why the Western World often ignores the plight of others.

This self-funded project gives an intimate look into Haynes’ process and rationale for continuing along this, now decade long, journey.  The Common Thread was an official selection at Kingston Canadian, Nickel Independent, Edmonton International and San Diego International film festivals in 2022.
