About the event

If you've clicked this far, WELCOME. I'm glad I've grabbed your attention.

What is an Art Exchange, you ask?

SIMPLE.

Make art.

Turn in said art.

Receive much art in return.

Meet some new people.

AMAZING.

Kinda like one of those old chain letters, except you'll actually receive stuff!

You can be an artist of any age, skill, type, ability, and you can participate in this. You just need to be able to make one for each participant we receive. How many will that be? Stay tuned! (And please consider this before you make something really complicated LOL).

Do you make friendship bracelets? COOL. Litho prints? GREAT! Crayon drawings? CAN'T WAIT! Sparkly do-nothings with purple doorknobs? AWESOMESAUCE. As long as you're able to make them pretty similar, so everyone gets more or less the same thing, it's all goooood!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Be an artist or craftsperson of *any* stripe.
  2. Please register so we have an idea of numbers.
  3. Wait until January 27th at 4:00 PM! I KNOW I HATE WAITING TOO
  4. Receive number of participants so you know how much art to make.
  5. Turn it all in by the February 24th @ 4:00 PM deadline.
  6. Taegan sorts it out so everyone gets one of everything.
  7. Pick it up your pile o' art at GAN on February 25th after 2:00 PM

You can choose to include your email or social media handle if you have one, so folks who have received your art can say hi!

Got a question? Got many questions? Email Taegan at taegan dot ferguson at gmail dot com!

Sign up today!

***Please note that we are more than happy to orchestrate local pick ups and drop offs for those who have mobility concerns in the winter.

*****Please also be aware that the art becomes the property of the new owner, and we can't control what they do with it after that. So maybe don't reveal your deepest, darkest secrets. Or do. I'm not the boss of you.
