This show will explore ideas of place – real or imaginary, abstract or representational – and homes made by humans or other beings. What if your place was in the river’s depths or on Mars? What makes a home? How might art help house humanity? What if I contracted a wasp to design my next dwelling?
This will be a small exhibition mounted in the GAN Bullock gallery. Open to GAN Insiders. All media are encouraged. Curated by the Exhibition Committee, choices will be based on creating a varied exploration of the concept given the limited space.
Proposals are invited by Monday, January 9, 2023. Please send photo(s) of your work, along with size and media, to firstname.lastname@example.org
Accepted work will be due for submission by noon, Saturday, January 21 to 167 King St. E. for installation in the space. An opening will be held Sunday, January 22, 3 to 5pm.
